Most of us associate trucks, semis & truck drivers with CB radios, much thanks to trucker movies like Convoy and trucker songs like "Teddy Bear" (Red Sovine -- if you haven't heard it, shame on you, go download right now!! :-))
Through my journey to many websites and online groups to pick up more info and ideas for my blog, I've ran across quite a lot of "trucker lingo" and as an English major and student of linguistics, I find it fascinating and so I've started to collect a list of terms & translations.

Very interesting blog!
It is weird life of a trucker really. There is a side f fun and adventure and another of extreme patience and hard work.Whatever said and done someone without the love for the transport will not be able to do it all.
Very interesting and funny.Did not even know they had a lingo though I hear some of them without actually knowing the meaning of it.
When your car or truck gets stuck in Coquitlam, you may get to get towing rapidly whereas still being able to supply benefits at a reasonable cost.
